Fire Prevention Poster Contest

This year’s FPW campaign, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape!” works to educate everyone about the small but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.

National PTA Reflections Program
Deadline: November 9, 2020

The Reflections Program is a national art program encouraging students to explore and present their love of arts. The theme for the 2020-2021 "I Matter Because".  Create an original artistic piece that reflects on this year's theme.


Take this great opportunity to express who you are as an individual through one or more of the following six categories:

  • Dance choreography
  • Film production
  • Music composition
  • Literature
  • Photography
  • Visual arts

In your artist statement, tell us about your work and what it means to you.

  • How does your work relate to the theme?
  • What is your personal connection to the theme?
  • What did you use to create your work (e.g. supplies, technology, instrumentation, props, etc.)? 
  • What/Who was your inspiration?

The Arts Reflection entry is one of the required art works for earning the Haun Husky Triathlon.
