Grandparents' Lunch
Thursday, November 15 10:45-1:15

Our Haun students love their grandparents! We invite all our Haun grandparents to join their student for lunch at the school in the cafeteria.  Be sure to come to the front office at least 10 minutes prior to your student’s scheduled lunch period to allow for check-in. After lunch feel free to pop into our Haun book fair for some early holiday shopping too!

Please see the attached lunch schedule for your child's lunch time.

STEM Academic Night
Tuesday, November 13 @ 6pm

Immediately after the Haun PTA Membership meeting, the doors will be open for all Haun parents and students to visit their classrooms and take part in a special STEM Academic Night! Teachers have worked hard preparing fun, hands-on activities for all grade levels. Let your kids show you what they have learned and maybe teach you a thing or two about STEM! Be sure to visit the Bookfair while you’re there too.

Traffic Safety at Haun
How to help...

First and foremost, please abide by the signs and the requests made by Principal Jayne Smith. Also, please take a moment to complete the following traffic enforcement request. The more Haun parents that submit the request, the more likely Plano Police will step up regular patrols for Quincy during our drop off and pick up times. This takes less than 5 minutes. Safety First! Link here.

Crayola ColorCycle Program
Marker Recycling

Have old markers at home? Don't throw them away, send them to Haun to be recycled!

Haun is participating in the Crayola ColorCycle Program this year. This is a program set up to turn used markers into energy. All year long, send used markers, even brands other than Crayola, to school to be placed in the Crayola ColorCycle box. Earth Club will send them in to be converted into clean fuel. The box is located outside of the art room. Click here for more information.
